Is jag da saamaan hai jhootha ant naal nahin jana ey;
Sadh sang mil naam nun jano jis ne paar langhana ey. Bina naam de janam maran ton kise nahin bachana ey; Gerh chaurasi lakh joona da rab de gyaan mukana ey. Gyaan guru de bajhon bande aj tak kise ne paya nahin; Kahe avtar gyaan nahin milya jad tak guru rijhaya nahin. |

All the worldly assets are false and nothing shall go with you at last;
O' man, seek the company of the True Saint and know the divine name which is to enable you to transcend the ocean of materialism. None except the Divine Name (God) will save you from dying again and again. The divine knowledge only is to end the cycle of birth and death. O' man, none has attained the divine knowledge so far without the True Master; Avtar says, the divine knowledge could not be attained without pleasing the True Master. |
Meaning
The divine knowledge could not be attained without pleasing the True Master. All the worldly assets are false
and nothing shall go with you at last. You should seek the company of the True Saint and know the divine name
which will help you to go beyond the ocean of greediness. No one except the Divine Name (God) will save you from
dying and taking births again and again. The cy-cle of birth and death can be avoided only with the Divine knowledge.
O' man, no one has achieved the divine knowledge so far without the help of the True Master.
